A Message from Mrs. Ormsbee

Greetings Herbison Woods Families!

We have had so many great end of the year events and experiences for our students at Herbison Woods!  Below are a few pictures from some of the activities and projects students have been participating in.  Thank you to all of those involved in helping to make these great experiences for everyone!

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as the principal at Herbison Woods, and am looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year!  It has been a pleasure to get to know the families and students in the community and school.  We will miss our fifth graders moving to the middle school, and wish them luck as they move on to their next chapter.  For our returning students, I wish you a safe and fun summer, and I look forward to seeing you all in the fall!  Thank you for all of your support this year and for partnering with our team!

Sincerely,

Alicia Ormsbee

4th graders had an amazing time learning about life in Michigan in the 1800s during their field trip to the Michigan Historical Village.  They also got to go fishing in the adjacent pond!
