Greetings Herbison Woods Families!

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  I hope you had an amazing summer filled with time to relax and enjoy family and friends.  I am excited for the school year to get started and grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Herbison Woods Elementary School principal! Our first day of school, on August 28th, is quickly approaching.  

Class placements will be available to view beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14th.  We strive to create balanced classrooms where all students are able to be successful.  Much time and consideration has been put into creating class lists that are balanced. You can find out your child’s class placement through Infinite Campus by following these steps:

• Log into Infinite Campus

  • • If you do not have a login/password, you may contact our technology department at:  helpdesk@dewittschools.net.or 517.668.3590

    • If you have not accessed Infinite Campus in the past, please check out this video that details how to utilize the features within IC. 

    • Click on the “Schedule” tab OR you can also click on the “Reports” tab and download a PDF of your child’s schedule. 

Our Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23 from 5:00-6:00.  We hope you are able to attend!

Herbison Woods families will have the opportunity to take a self guided tour on Friday, August 25th from 8:00-5:00. Please be aware that school staff will not be available to meet and classrooms will not be accessible on this day. This is an opportunity for students to become familiar with the layout of the school.
